Drafted (2021)

Naki was 1/7 student filmmakers selected from a cohort of 200 to travel to LA and create a short film in August 2021 as part of EICOP’s HBCU in LA program. She held two positions—wardrobe designer and production designer—and was the only person in either department. She planned, tracked, and maintained all the costumes, props, and set dressing and upheld the film’s location. In this role, she searched for and acquired 75+ props, set dressing, and costumes in 5 days and created a database to manage all the items on set and easily share the data with other departments.
